This summer we traveled to Omaha, Nebraska for the day to visit the
world famous Henry Doorly Zoo. Tommy and I have both been to this zoo
but it has been many many years. It really is a great zoo and we had a blast!
Right in the parking lot of the zoo lies the old Rosenblatt Stadium where
the college baseball world series used to be held every year. They have since
built a new stadium but they saved a part of Rosenblatt, making it into a miniature
field with the original foul polls. After visiting the zoo we spent a good 30 minutes
at least playing on the field. Pretending to pitch, hit and run the bases!
