Dominic Is 6 Months!

Dominic is 6 months old! Time is flying by!

He continues to be a little lover boy. He is, generally, a very happy baby.

He loves to nurse, fall asleep on mommy and adores Vinny.

He mostly takes two naps a day and is sleeping pretty well at night. Usually,

waking one time in the night to nurse and go right back to sleep.

He is sitting up on his own and doing really well with that. 

That's been nice because he can sit and play now. Also, no teeth yet. 

We have not started him on any solid foods yet and will have his 6 month

checkup in a couple of weeks. We are all smitten by this boy.

Vinny is 5!

Vinny is 5 years old! Wow! That went so fast.

Vinny is a sweet, tender hearted, loving little boy.

He is a rule follower, a bit of a perfectionist and definitely has all the feelings. 

He loves sports, loves to play in general, and 

loves his family and friends. He is an amazing big brother!

 He amazes us with his intelligence and

we are so proud of the little boy he is.

Happy 5th birthday, sweet boy. Mommy and Daddy love you to the moon and back!

Vinny spent the morning of his birthday and the two days before at UK's kids football camp.

He had a blast and did really well with it.

Vinny's 5th Birthday Party

We celebrated Vinny's 5th birthday a couple of days early with friends

with a bounce party. He had his new friends from his tee ball team

as well as a couple of other new friends join him for pizza, cake and jumping.

All of the kids had a blast.

Vinny asked for a baseball themed party and he picked out his cake.

His tee ball team name is the Bulls.

Tee Ball-Spring 2016

Vinny is playing tee-ball(really called wee-ball) here in Lexington.

I was actually able to sign him up while we still lived in Ames and

really lucked out and got in a great league(super close to our house)

and on a great team. We have actually made some great friends

here in Lexington through this team.

Vinny is loving playing. They play games once a week and the games

are 3 innings or 1 hour. Every kid gets to hit every inning.

The games are so comical. Vinny really focuses and always gives

his best effort. The coaches do a good job with letting the kids

play all of the positions.

Each game, the coach chooses a kid who

played well and hard to receive the game ball. Vinny

was the first one to receive the game ball and he was so excited

and we were so proud of him!

What we've been up to lately...

Almost every morning when Dominic wakes up, Vinny asks

to go into his room. He crawls into his crib with him and 

takes off his sleep sack and they talk and play.

I took a picture of the video monitor. They are the sweetest brothers.

Vinny learned how to ride his bike!

I am so proud of him.

One day, I took his training wheels off his bike

and told him it was time to learn. I took him out to the street

and in less than 5 minutes he had it!

Dominic is 5 Months and Daddy is 32!

Our baby boy is 5 months old! He is still such a happy boy!

Getting stronger and stronger, not much longer and he will

be sitting up on his own! He loves to nurse and loves his mommy,

daddy and brother!
