January 8th marked 7 months! Our baby is becoming such a big boy! Vinny continues being a very active and happy boy. His new trick is getting up on all fours, although, his main mode of transportation is rolling. He loves rolling! Our family and friends think it's pretty funny. They say he is very graceful and flexible. He is also feeding himself small finger foods such as cheerios and baby puffs. He loves this! It helps that he has two teeth now! Vinny is a great eater. His diet includes almost all fruits and vegetables, rice cereal and oatmeal. My parents gave us a baby food maker for Christmas and we absolutely love it! I am making all of his food from fresh fruits and vegetables. Not only is it more cost effective, convenient, preservative free and more nutritious, Vinny loves it so much more than the prepackaged baby food. For example, Vinny was not really fond of the bananas when I was buying the jarred food. So, I smelled them and tasted them and yuck! I don't blame him. They didn't even smell like bananas and they were very tart. After making my own, he loves them! Although he eats everything I give him, and he can't talk to tell me, it seems like his favorite foods so far are pears, butternut squash and avacado.

Vinny is so cute in front of mirrors. Every time we put him in front of one he smiles so
big and leans in for a big kiss! Open mouth of course. The first time he did this just
melted my heart. He is such a lover boy.
